This required comprehensive monitoring of cell voltage, temperature, and pack current, addressing functional safety concerns in high-stakes environments as the BMS has to operate for a High Voltage-High Power Scenario (450-600V DC, 260KW). A scalable architecture must be developed to accommodate diverse applications and for their future EVs that utilizes same platform and similar battery capacity. Tackling thermal challenges and implementing safety measures are a key challenge across the industry for enhancing system reliability.</p>



<p>Additionally, functional safety must be met, adhering to ISO 26262 standards for both hardware and firmware.</p>
